Decisions ????

Hey guys, need a little input. I've spoke to Mark K. via PM and we think i'm on my way to a rebuild. Lord knows I would love to have a JW or BTS but would hate to go deeper into debt. (if you know what I mean) I'm only a couple hours away from JW which makes me sick but $$$ dictate.... I've found a few local rebuilders. (I have no recomendations from anyone I know. I would be flying blind) getting quotes from 1-2K for a reman. Nothing special in them???? I also found a takeout from a wrecked 03 with 45K on it for $1K? Just not sure which way to go? Opinions !!

thanks guys
Erik

Re: Decisions ????

At least try and get an upgraded torque converter because that is the main part to fail in the transmission.

Re: Decisions ????

Call JW, he has a kit for about $2300+-. Best kit you could get for the $$

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

You want to keep the truck till it rusts apart? I'd go with a BTS. He will fix any issues you have AFTER the 2 yr warranty.

You wnat to keep it for a couple years more and not mod it? Ford Reman.

You plan to get rid of it ASAP? Get your local No Name Rebuilder, Aamco, Jasper or whatever is cheapest.
