2000 f550 7.3 4r100

I have a 2000 f550 7.3 bucket truck weighs gvw17500# looking for recommendations on installing new transmission buy used or a built new?

There is s few rebuild places I would recommend. Bts, John woods, or the one I pm'ed you about.

01 f-250, Standard
Rev tech 4" lift, 37" military wrangler Mt tires
KC diy 66, Full force 160/100 and custom tunes from PHP
Banks intercooler and full 4" exhaust, Diy S&B intake
Diy quad feed, Hydra, Isspro boost, pyro, and fuel pressure
3/0 battery cables with military style terminals

I did my 99 F250 this spring, I shopped and went with a re manufactured Ford Dealership 3 year warranty. $2700 trade price $3200 list Canadian. Unlimited miles and backed anywhere in North America. I replaced the cooler too; in case they try and throw me a curve. Those Tranny shop guys warranty are only as good as they are long. Ford should be around a while if not, nothing matters! A recognized shop can do the RE and RE. Respectfully submitted.
