E40D question

I recently bought a 97 f350 dually with a auto trans. It has a plow and dump box so I figured it would be a great wood houler and plow rig. But it has a cracked bell housing. I called a few junk yard around me with no luck finding one for a 460 (it's a Gasser) I was wondering if one from a different gas or even a diesel engine? Not sure if this is a fun question or not but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Re: E40D question

Nope, it has to be from a 460. Nothing else will bolt to the engine.

I didn't think I'd get lucky enough for another one to work. Ok thanks though!
