Clutch messed up.

Hey guys i was just wondering if any of you have seen or remember hearing about the center of the clutch disk punching out ? like were the springs are and were the shaft goes threw ? This was a valair 600 hp clutch ,I know i dont have that much hp but it is the one I wanted !
And they will not Warranty it at all wtf, I'll put pic up as they come .

Your throw-out bearing probably didn't spin very easy and rubbed through the fingers, seen it a few times. Throw-out bearings are not very good on these trucks.

2000 F-350 six speed

How long ago did you buy it? And what were you doing when it came apart?

Well the clutch is new hade less then 200 miles on it ,and I was going 55 mph with the cruz control on and came up to a stop and it made one hell of a sound when I pushed the clutch in

200 miles and no replacement that seems a bit slack to me...
i would have it checked for defects.
i would also def go southbend

Who put the clutch in? Did you go from a factory flywheel to the single flywheel at the install of the valair? The bolts holding the flywheel to the crank need to have threadlocker on them so they don't come flying out at high speed. That'll ruin everything, but not just the center section. Was a new throw-out installed at the same time as the clutch? I think the guys are going to need more info to accurately help you out.

Why SB southmike? I'm not hating, I have one and love it, just wondering.

Yes sir only 200 miles!.They tryed to tell me that the clutch it was put in wrong , I said how if I went 200 miles befor it broke,you know!.They still wouldnt do nothing about it !,They made me send a bunch of pic of it too them thats all! And yes everything that comes with a new clutch was all put in at the same time !! throw out b' to I even hade a no shift fork put in a stronger one ! . And my last clutch was a south bend and it lasted for a good long time, But one thing that I didnt like the south bend would do is make my clutch peddle stick to the floor?? ha idk why ? But thats all i have for you guys now thanks for all the help

Mine did the exact same thing probably the same clutch run as your i called them and they fixed it right away just sent out another clutch.... talk to kevin he is who i talked to and was extremely helpful!

as a replacement or did you pay for it?
if it was a replacement then kudos to the company for stepping up to the plate..
if you paid for it, it wold be a cold day in hell b4 I gavethem another cent.
