E4OD 2nd/OD woes

Alright, as soon as I think I am ahead on my trans something else comes up to haunt me. Here's the scenario: truck is no longer shifting in to OD except under heavy acceleration. I have a PCS controller and can tell that its commanding OD but the truck won't shift, it just stays in 3rd. I have replaced the solenoid pack, currenty have all the VB's out to check the feed bolt torque which was fine. Also noticed while testing the new solenoid pack that manual shift into 2nd engages then disengages then engages and holds. What the heck? Any ideas? The truck holds power in all gears no problem. I have since cleaned the connections at the solenoid pack just to make sure, but before I reassembled I figured I'd post out here and see if anyone has some thoughts.

Thanks!

Re: E4OD 2nd/OD woes

Nothing? I noticed that the manual shift flair going into 2nd has something to do with the controller. Anyone know how the trans acts when the OD snap ring pops off? How about when the solenoids are weak?
