billet input yes or no

alright had my tranny built a while back with everything in the suncoast catalog except the billet shafts. the tranny has to come back out to fix a leaking front seal which my tranny guy will cover under warranty i asked him about a billet input he told me he usally sees stock ones break at 500 hp give or take a little he said if i buy one he wouldnt charge any labor to install so should i get one or not its only 235 bucks i plan on 500 hp to the tires

99.5 F-250 X-CAB SHORTBED 4X4
Dyno proven tuning
suncoast tranny
P.I.S 238CC/200% hybrids

I have the same tranny you have and got the billet input then was told as soon as I had it installed certain bigdogs with 7.3's running mad power with multiple track passes and no breakage yet just use oem cryoed tranny parts save you some major coin, I did my output and planetary drum. You may want to look into that.

02 c/c lariat 4x4 DI studs, Rosewood BIG OIL, 76mm/22cm XXXH2Evil, some fuel, C2 gauges, tru trac F/R 4.30 gears, custom shafts, Stallion TC, Fully built Suncoast, mag hytech pan, 5" pipe, 25k gooseneck hidden hitch , 2 motors, STILL on pmrs in one

I would think the labor ,towing, down time, would cost at least as much
to replace it latter. I would do it. Or at least a better then stock.

2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

Dockboy is making some pretty impressive power on his cummins powered ford, low 11's on fuel i recall, and a stock input shaft. I managed to break one and brian sent me a new converter, and a new oem treated shaft, free.

iirc dockboy has a bts tranny prob not an oem....but i could be wrong

Send those stock shafts to Wide Open and have them cryo treated.

yes sir because the tranny would already be out to fix the front seal. i didnt even bring it up my tranny guy did thats why i think i might get it 235 installed out the door he already sent me the quote suncoast input shaft

the only problem with that is i dont have time to wait on all that i can have the billet shaft put in in a day

my billet was not near that much. racerx has a mush better price or at least did when i bought mine. or cryo like jacob said.
