4R100 JUNK AGAIN

My 4R100 burned up at 200,000 not bad for a truck I purchased @ 189K. Did what I thought was an educated rebuild thru an Ebay Vendor from Fla. He told me all the right buzz words like heavy shaft billet torque converter and Tugger shift kit. Also put in a large fan cooled cooler. Rebuild costing $4K I pull approximately 8K and push an 8' Vee blade plow. My tranny started bleeding the heart of snow plow season and needed helicoiled. I was laid up with wrist surgery and broke so kept doing transfusions. Now she won't move forward and I'm looking for a rebuilder. The reason for going to an Ebay one is NO SHOP in Erie PA can I trust. Please HELP I'll drive a considerable distance to get to a quality rebuilder. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Re: 4R100 JUNK AGAIN

Ford sells a heavy duty version of the 4r100. Its a good deal at $3000. Comes with a 3 year warranty and includes a torque convertor. Get it at your ford dealers parts counter. I haven't had any problems with mine. ( knock on wood)
