looking for options

Hey yall,
OK so this is my problem, I have a 95 PSD w/ a worn out ZF5. Im also in need of a clutch. Ive done some looking and to fix my problems its gonna run about 2 grand. So should I fix my ZF5 or should I swap to an auto? I know enough about the swap to know what parts I need, but how much would you spend on the E40D itself. What I mean is how strong internally does it need to be to withstand 350-425HP? Sorry to ramble, all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Cole

Re: looking for options

I figured that would be a popular response, but how much would just parts run? Im pretty tight on budget.

Re: looking for options

Look into PATC Transmission they have a lot of parts on there website for the E40D or 4R100. You can't go wrong with RacerX though.
