Best Transmission?

Who's got the best aftermarket performance trans? I was looking at BTS and Suncoast... ATS and BD are a little overpriced IMO. I need a trans asap and money is definitely an issue.. What do you all recommend?

1997 Ford F-250HD 4x4 SC/LB PSD, 128,000 Miles
MBRP 4inch Straight Pipe w/cat delete and 3inch DP and MBRP 6in Tip
Tymar Intake
Front add-a-leafs w/Skyjacker Nitro 8000 shocks all around.
BFG All Terrains 315/75/16 on Stock Wheels

Re: Best Transmission?

Ya I have a buddy who has maybe a 500 horse cummins nothin special and has literally gone through three ats transmissions since june. Their customer service sucks we went down to their headquarters and honest to god in the middle of us talking to whoever was supposedly helping us this guy pulled out his phone and started texting as my friend was trying to explain a trans issue. I almost pissed myself! But ya their transmissions have had three big issues (valvebody melted cuz a valve stuck, torque converter blew apart, and now it wont manually shift into second) This is two supposedly different ATS transmissions!

Re: Best Transmission?

I just ordered a BTS today. Awesome people to deal with, amazing warranty, and they'll be there for you if you need them.

I messed around with other tranny builders and all they did was disappoint me and suck up a ton of money. Buy it once, buy a BTS.

Early 99 F-350
4" lift on 33's. Daily Driver/ Plow truck.
Swamp's Gen3, 300/200's, Tuning, 76mm Sledgehammer. BTS. Fuel system, ARP's, P-Rods, 910's, and a few other things. Stock Block.
SOLD
