Bronco cooler?

I am in the middle of swapping a PSD into my Bronco and while stripping the Bronco down for the transplant I realized that the Bronco has a pretty decent sized tranny cooler.

Has anyone used one of these before? Its probably three times the size of a stock OBS cooler as far as surface area, and looks similar to a heater core or radiator in design

Re: Bronco cooler?

no Dave, I bought everything to do the intercooler but that is going to have to wait. I was doing the swap in a friends shop, but he sold it while I was only partially through. I actually completed 75% of the progress to date outside in the august heat and humidity (and I'm a very pale boy)

I now have it in another friends shop but need to get it out of there asap as its only a 3 bay garage, so the intercooler will have to wait and I have only been working on necessities to make it run. Hopefully I just need to run my fuel system and mate the truck dash harness to the Broncos body harness and I can fire it up...then move it to the friend who just sold the shop it came froms new place of employment so we can put the axles in and have him build my shafts

as for pics, I keep forgetting to bring the camera down there to take pics I really need to do that this week

if your not using an IC the factory cooler may be fine, or use a SD cooler for now.
