Hard shifting.......

Here about a mth. ago I changed the fluid and filter in my E4OD, shortly before that ~a week or so, it started shifting REAL hard into 4th, I took it to a friend of my dads who has a trann. shop, he pulled the valve body out and said that the #4valve had a "small burr" on it, so he polished it down, that same weekend I went to the mtns. to start scouting for my elk hunt on the way out (road is very winndy up / down, etc) it started shifting even HARDER into 4th, when I got home took it back in to him his thought was to pull one of the springs out? (it has a tranns go shift kit from a privious rebuild) however it is still doing it, the weird thing is it does not do it every time or if you get on it hard or soft, I have also noticed that my tranny temp is running just alittle highter than it normally does, any ideas out there?, thanks

stay safe out there
