Auto to Manual Swap Started.

Yesterday I got the zf6 and parts from David and started my swap.

Last night I got the clutch pedal in (THIS SUCKED) and the transfer case out.

I had to take out all the wiring I had going through the firewall for gauges and everything because it was ran through the hole where the clutch to master cylinder link goes. So this gives me a reason to rewire it all and clean it up.

Here are the pics of my progress. I plan on dropping the tranny out tonight since I will have some help.

The auto is going to David and I'm using the same transfer case.

Because I hate auto transmissions

For what I use the truck for a manual is they better pick.

I can't count how many times i have been towing and said "Damn I wish this was a manual" Now I don't have to say that anymore.

So if you don't like it you can just keep your little auto.

Can you not read b4 you post

Anyway.... I do have a question for someone. There are lines on the passenger side of the manual. I take it they are for cooling lines? But the auto lines are in a different location. What am I to do there?

Re: Auto to Manual Swap Started.

Mine is WAY better towing now. Just ignore the haters.

Not all of us want to race a work truck, some of us actually use them for what they were designed for. A little extra power and you got a hell of a DD and tow rig.

BTW, Trey, I did not notice you had a camera on me the other day lol. Now they will find me...

Oh I just let them think what they want. Only I know what I want.

Camera phones are great.
