What's a road ripper 2000?

Re: slow 3-5

that trans is a load of crap after reading that IMO. 3/4 of what they say they do cannot be done to a torqshift due to its design.

It could be alot of things. First thing that comes to mind is tuning. What tune are you running? 'Some' delay is normal. What is 'real slow'?

Matt Robinsons tunes.would 2 seconds be slow enough in your opinion to cause concern?

Re: slow 3-5

How is it at WOT? Is the delay ONLY at part throttle? Does it do it every time? Do the RPM's just 'hang' or do they go straight to redline and then eventually drop down? Yes 2 seconds is too long.

Are you sure it gets stuck in 4th at times? That gear is not used unless below 0*F.

Re: slow 3-5

same at wot. delay is all the time. every time.goes straight to redline. scan gauge indicates 4th.temp is 30degrees.

It sounds like its slipping the direct clutch then. its toast. If you are located anywhere near the northeast and they dont warranty it for you, i build them. PM me if you're interested.
