4wd 4R100 transfered into a 2wd 4R100

I have a 4wd 4r100 sitting in my garage. Is there anyway to turn it into a 2wd transmission or is the case itself different?

TIA

I thought I read something about the case being different. If its just the tailshaft then that doesn't seems like too bad of a job.

Nope just complete disassembly of the trans ........... Thats not much work if you have the right tools or can make them, and you have to know what you are doing. Me an auto transmissions do not play well together as far as tearing into one.

Oh, I thought it was maybe just disassembling the rear part of it, like the tailshaft housings on an old T-400 Chevy transmission. Damn this sucks.
