How often do you pull? I don't think sb likes to have their single disks pulled much but I'm not sure? I have a OFE and love it, just don't know if it would slip if I hooked it up.

dd sbc, best clutch ever. little noisy when the clutch is in but you cant slip it! I pull pretty heavy loads with mine and have been happy so far.

If you pull at all I would say a Sbc dd about a 3600 ceramic. I have a 3850 feramic and still tow but it likes to grab and go.

Valair gets my vote all day. SB has great clutches too, but Valair is way less money and every bit as good. And customer service is second to none. Check out their website Valair Performance Series Clutches they have single disks and double disks for your truck. Find one you like and give them a call. Talk to Dan, or Kevin. And if you tell them Cody from Death Row Diesel sent you, they will make the price even better. Good luck man.

Re: Southbend clutch or centerforce ???????

Well you could go with a Luck single mass clutch kit and get the input shaft upgrade/repair kit for less than the cost as a SBC kit. Since SBC uses luck frictions in many cases I'd say you might save a few $$$$$.

Just a though.
