The dreaded OD light!

Sh1t...the damn OD light is flashin and i got no speedo

Most likely just need to replace your speed sensor that is on top of the rear dif. It is a low cost part.

the speedo has been out for awhile but the od light is new...but i think you r right....going to pull codes to see whats up..

Mine did the same thing, pull out your sensor & replace it. New sensor is about $35 at the Ford dealer if I remember right. See how that works & report back.

when it happen to you did your OD switch work?mine dont,just flashes.....i replaced the sensor on the diff and got nothing also shoowing no codes

Unhook both batts for about 15 mins. Then try driving & see when the code shows up & then pull the codes.

tried the batt thing and nothin....comes back as soon as it starts shifting,and yes the TC is lockin the tranny feels great...but it shifts into OD too early other than that i like it better than befor the light started flashing and shift just a little harder

OK...now it only blinks when its in park...otherwise every thing works
