Hey guys my transmission went out on my f250 and I bought one with 93k on it to replace it. Upon inspection of the valve body the screen/gasket that goes between it had a slight tear. Replaced it and installed transmission sunday. Drove it home I figured it needed to relearn itself so it shifted kind of funny. Came out yesterday and started it, put it into gear nothing. You can hear the rpm difference when it goes into gear. When it goes into reverse u can press the throttle but there's no rpm difference. Tried to put it into 4x4 and it doesn't do nothing. Fluid level looks to be correct level, no burnt smell etc. Any body got an idea of what it could be? Buddy's dad said possibly pumped could be stuck? Code P0751 did show also on my sct. Thanks

That is for the coast clutch solenoid stuck off. I cant recall off the top of my head but its possible the one way clutch could have failed. Im not sure if one failed one way clutch will cause no movement (there are 2 in the trans).

No movement at all could be either a stuck PC-A solenoid, low/reverse solenoid, or a failed pump or low/reverse clutch set. This trans is not an "old school" transmission. Its fully electronic with 7 variable force solenoids.

Pull the pan and see what you find. You may have to tear into it. That tear in the solenoid body gasket should have been a tell tale sign something is wrong.
