HELP. IT WONT SHIFT. UHHHHH

Ok, ive went threw hell with this tranny. Ive had it rebuilt, its all good inside, everything but billet shafts, Its pretty much a copy of a ATS. It has a Gregg Evans Acc. Body, new solenoid pack, New billet converter, fresh filter and new fluid. And ive still got this F ing 1 to 2 second hesitation between first and second. If im on the hammer, the 1st to 2nd shift taps the limiter, before she hits second. Im befuddled. Jody said he didnt do anything as far as tranny tunes, just upped the line pressure a bit. Anyone else have any clues. I swear i could prolly gain a second in the quarter if this thing would shift.

Unhappy Same Problem...

I have pretty much the same problem. I replaced my torque converter and added a bully dog shift kit into it. Mine will pause between 1st and 2nd then bark the tires pretty hard. All the other gears hit fine. Waitin for an answer same as you.

A sticking 1-2 accumulator can do that.

Re: HELP. IT WONT SHIFT. UHHHHH

I kinda think its been a problem since the day i put the Gregg Evans Acc. Body in. It finally just got amplified when i put those injectors in. So now its real noticable. Ive tried and tried contacting him, but no luck. I guess im gonna have to take it and have it put on a MOTIS or AE and see what its doing. Kinda wishing i woulda went with a BTS or JW Acc. body, but there really wasnt much talk about these things when i bought this. Ive seen nothing but mixed emotions with the Factory Tech Performance. I just know i was really impressed with the one that was put into a Lightning. Kinda thinking that one was a race version though. Cause it banged gears nice.
