Is there a big difference in the stock unit vs an upgraded South bend release fork? Thanks guys!
On Edit, this is for a '99 with a Midwest Transmission '05+ ZF6 in it...

Re: South bend release fork

The south bend , I believe , is just the newer factory upgrade, and yes you have a '99, They have been known to be weak. I don't remeber where but somewhere. I put the newer factory one in mine when I installed my south bend dual disc. It was cheap.

Re: South bend release fork

I will get a picture of it here shortly, but I pretty much bent it in half. So the new upgraded stock unit will do me just fine?

Yep, as long as everything else in your clutch set-up is good.

Re: South bend release fork

Yea, I talked to peter the other day, The upgrade is the newer factory one, and side by side there is a big difference. I snapped my orig almost in half. Hopefully the "upgrade" will last.
