Couple of ZF5 questions

WHen I shift and let the clutch out I get a clang/bang, if I release the clutch really slow it doesn't seem to do it.

Also when I back the truck up my driveway (slight incline) if I don't slip the heck out of the clutch the truck will start to jerk and the drivetrain clangs and bangs..

ANyideas on where to start?

Truck has a US Gears Overdrive behind the trans, I am beginning to wonder if it is playing a role in this.

THank you for any help/advice
