4r100 sensors

I'm about to buy a stock rebuilt transmission to tide me over for the time being and its a 4r100.

The guy asked me if I had "these two sensors" on the top of my transmission.

They are just the two speed sensors right? on at the input and other at output?
Do all the 4r100's for these trucks have these? I'd go check myself but im in louisiana and the truck is in san antonio.

Thanks for the help!

Re: 4r100 sensors

All 4R100s have two speed sensors on top of the transmission. E4ODs do not, and people often confuse those two transmissions.
