clutch or trans?

Hey guys I have a 1997 f250 5 speed. Yesterday it was real hard or sometimes imposible to put it in reverse. The other gears were hard but would go. About a year ago my stock clutch went out and I replaced it with a Valaire. Could it be the clutch or trans. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks
