anyone ever ran a Haisley street drag clutch?

Hey all so I'm about to put in a new trans and clutch, and looking for something that I can pull once in a while yet still shift somewhat quickly. any help?

Early 99, regular cab, Six Speed, Wildman Tuned, Red wastegate line MIA, muffler MIA, Isspro EGT/Boost, DIY Tymar, EBPV Switch, a slipping South Bend, 2.5" leveling kit, 35x12.5 BFG All-Terrains, 16.5" American Racing wheels SOLD
04, red regular cab, six speed, Edge SOLD
97, silver regular cab 300/200 s300

Pulling and shifting quickly won't go together.

Either you want a puller, or a racer.

A light plate load South Bend, something like a 3250 6 button ceramic might work, but it won't be great at either...

well the street drag is advertised as drag racing, horsing around, and one or two pulls a year

you want a sbc over a hmr, unless you want to shim the clutch all the time

really? never heard anything bad about haisleys... so what SBC would I want? I have the one that is either the stock replacement or a step above that right now.

and off subject but house clay city is 10 minutes from my house and I damn near went to the pulls wish I would've known you were gonna be there!

Yea what House said, The HMR's are good clutches, but my 3250 outlived two of them on another truck. My 3250 had a very bad life and was still doing fine before I pulled it. It had prolly 30+ boosted 3rd gear 4x4 launches racing and daily drove it for awhile. I did manage an 8.8x at 83mph before it got the BTS though.

Talk to Dan at midwest transmissions. He goes by SoGrand on the boards and will fix you up right.

early '99 converted to late '99 F-350 dually, 4x4, 4 door, long bed, 6 speed. Midwest transmissions 05+ zf-6 transmission with their short throw shifter and SB clutch. Rosewood 180cc singles with 80% nozzles, Termy modded 17* HPOP, International bellowed up pipes, fs-2500, DP Tunes.
