Eo4d funny shifting that's not so funny

Hello everyone!
Recently purchased my first 7.3!! The truck had been sitting for 1.5-2 years.
I got it running checked the tranny and it was 7qts low. Took it out and drove it. Shifting 1st to 2nd seems correct but from 2nd to 3rd the truck has to be way high in the rpms to shift then as soon as it shifts to third it almost immediately shifts to 4th.
Some times I have kinda feather the throttle to get it to shift when shifting 2-3 and 3-od.

Supposedly the tranny was replaced and then had a solenoid replaced before being parked for two years.

Any suggestions?

Filter? 7 quarts low indicates a sizable leak.

Y'all think change the filter? The leak is coming from the pan.

Have you tried to shift it manually? You can see if it shifts right on time and if so then you more then likely have a bad sensor or electrical problems.

Now that you've driven it for a while check the fluid level again.

The best place to start is to get the codes read. Cheap scanners like the auto parts stores use WILL NOT read these codes.

That's not want I want to hear. Y'all think it would be a good idea to go ahead and change the fluid and filter?

Mine as well, when you drop the pan check the fluid color and see if there is any pieces of metal or anything.
