Re: torque converter

I would get it from the guy who rebuilt your trans. That way, if it fails for whatever reason, you don't get the "Go ask your Mom. Go ask your Dad" routine. You bring your own steak to the restaurant and it is bad, who is to blame? The cook for cooking the steak bad or the butcher for the meat?

If you must go get one from outside the builder, get one from BTS. 1-870-422-3673. About 1100 or so, give or take

01 Excursion 7.3L Powerstroke. Gauges with AIH Delete, AIS, CCV Mod, 4' MBRP, BTS Trans, 6.0L Trans Cooler and Intercooler, DP-Tuner F5 chip, ITP In Tank Mod and Boost Annihilator, Diesel Innovation's Regulated Fuel kit, BTS Big Oil system, GTP38R Turbo with 1.15 A/R housing and BPD Stage II AC injectors. Bilstein Shocks with U front and A Rear.

i got my triple disc billet with a low stall for 575. my transmission guy helped me out a little, but there is a guy on ebay that builds them nice, and cheap too. i think a triple disc billet was around 500 or so.

Re: torque converter

David Lott at Diesel Innovations is the guy to talk to...

He's got the best deal on the PI Stallion converters hands down. He's also a great guy to deal with. He helped me multiple times while I was installing my Stallion yesterday.
