ZF6 lost 6th.

I found a core ZF6 with no 6th gear for $500. Wondering if anyone knows what could be wrong with it?

Busted gear, counter shaft, fork?

Just need to know if it will be worth the drive or shipping to get it.

Do the shafts move free, bind up, or not budge at all? Is there lateral play in the output shaft? Did you check the fluid for pieces of shift fork?
