diesel trans to gas....yes, no, maybe so?

we already covered that a 4r100 can swap to a obs
can it mate behind a gas also? like a 460?

just trying to further educate myself now!

Different bolt pattern I believe.

don't the ford lightnings from 1999 to 2004 use the 4r100?

There are 4R100s that can mate to a gas engine. A 4R100 that mates to a diesel WILL NOT mate to a gas engine. The case is one piece. You would need an adaptor plate made, or you could just change cases.

I'm not aware of any and like Mark points out, they're 4R100s for the V10, etc. Probably easier building one of them.
