auto to zf6

I'm doing a swap. Have all the parts but just not the transmission. Ive called around to many places. But one place that was very helpful was Joes transmission in pa. I was wondering if anyone has done business with them and how is there zf6

Re: auto to zf6

Ya I saw that. But they have three complaints in the warranty section. An another member said he was having shifting issues with one from them. But they have the best pricing and was very helpful

Re: auto to zf6

Thanks for the reply. But really no one has anything to say. Why is it when I have a real ? I can never get much help. Yet if I ask what chip to buy or how do I blow smoke ill have a hundred responses chewing me out. Sometimes this site ticks me off for the lack of help

Re: auto to zf6

No way I would deal with a rowboat for a truck...

Your asking a very specific question about a local builder of Manual trans... Your not going to get much if any feed back on an item like that.

Thats like me asking people here if the sisters bakery makes good doughnuts... Which they do by the way.

Re: auto to zf6

Check the vendor section, look for Midwest Transmission.
They could probably help you out.
SoGrand aka Dan is a great guy, knowledgeable and helpful.
Also a powerstroke owner.
Ask about his short throw shifter while your at it.
