2005 F350

I have a 2005 F350 6.0 crew cab 8 ft bed. I have been noticing a pause/delay when shifting from park/drive/ drive/reverse ect. Any advice on what would be causing this to happen thanks

Re: 2005 F350

The delay I'm referring to is substancial. like 3-5 secs between gears when shifting from one to another.

Re: 2005 F350

New fluid might help. It may take new solenoids to fix it.

Re: 2005 F350

I have changed the fluid and external filter. Are the solenoids ( how many are there?)accessible externally or internal. Mechanically inclined, how difficult of a undertaking. Thanks again.

Re: 2005 F350

I have fixed the same problem by replacing the PC-A solenoid, the part is less than $100 at the dealer.
