I know to use mercon sp or LV but how much does it take?

Re: 5r110 service

A totally dry transmission after a rebuild takes about 18 quarts. If you're using a hot flush machine it takes about 20 quarts. If you are draining the pan it takes 6-10 quarts.

Thanks. Do you use a normal motor craft filter or go aftermarket?
