Transmission mods help.

Hey all, I have had my 96 F250 PSD for about a week now. I had the tranny completley flused for ease of mind because I know lack of maintance on E40D could be bad. But when they were flushing it he brought me in and showed me there was a different TC. Not sure what brand so I was hoping you guys could help me out. Im a little color blind so it looked blue or light purple. He told me this because stock they have drain plugs in the TC's and this don't. Plus there is aftermarket valve body and Banks trans command. Do you think going this far in mods just from what I seen that this trans has been rebuilt? And what brand could that TC be? Just curious here so I know what I have.

Re: Transmission mods help.

I tried to contact original owner and have no luck. I'm third owner. I'm anal about my equipment and would hate to spend money on a new tranny that quick. So when I found out it had some goodies it made me wonder if he went that far to put those aftermarkets on if he did it completley right and went completley inside? I wish I could find out exactly what brand it was, would ease my mind a little. Note: I have bad OCD
