ZF6 question

A buddy of mine has a brand new ZF6 still in the wrapper he bought got a project that never took off. It was for his dmax, now I know you need to change a good amount of stuff when you put a ford ZF6 in but I was wondering if it would this work on my 96 psd, when the e4od does does i would like to to a manual swap anyway. So basically is the bolt pattern the same?

Tow rig - 1996 F-250 now a 350 7.3, 6637 intake, 3in dp, 4in straight pipe exhaust, 6 pos with PHP tunes, intercooler, gauges.
Wheeling rig - 1995 Jeep Wrangler, 4.0 turbo, spring over, Dana 60's, spooled rear locked front, 37's, full cage.
