4R100 Transmission Fluid

What is the best fluid out for the 4R100? Why?

2001 Ford F350 Lariat LE 7.3 PSD
Crew Cab, 4 x 4, Long Bed, Dual Rear Wheels

I've heard Mercon V. That's what I would use.

01' F350 Lariat ECLB

Mostly stock, just removed muffler and custom welded bend out the side and AFe Stage II intake. Also got 285's and CB radio.
