Question stock 5r110 speed

Does anybody here on PSN know what the maximum mph is you can run on a stock 5r110 without damaging the trans? I have heard people running all the way to 130 safely. Dont wanna push it too hard, since speedometer only goes to 100.

I've had mine up to 215 kph (GPS) and it was still willing to go higher. The vision of my tires blowing made me back off, also my tire temperatures were climbing fast. My trans temp was around 190 F

SCT, no studs...yet, Dual OEM intake air filter housings, Banks intercooler & intake elbow, Banks exhaust syatem, Windrunner ported intake manifold, Bullet Proof Diesel remote oil cooler & thermostat, AirDog2 (plus a couple spares), Power steering filter (Amsoil dual-bypass), MagTec deep ATF pan, Electric oil pre-lub pump, Dakota Digital gauges.

I don't think the trans is going to have a problem, though I never tested it at high speed. I'd be VERY worried about the driveshaft.

pucker factor off the chart. It always amazes me how people do things like that without the proper upgrades.

You can't fix stupid......you can only numb it with a 2x4.
