Zf5-42 reverse stop plate?

Not sure if this is the correct term for it but what is the plate that goes on the bottom of the shifter called? It holds reverse in and makes it so you can't put it in reverse on the fly I suppose!

Trying to sell the truck but can't seem to figure out the name to tell the guy!

Re: Zf5-42 reverse stop plate?

Note totally sure but I call it a Reverse Lockout Gate, if we are speaking the same thing here. The Reverse Lockout Gate prevents shifting into reverse while driving in a forward direction gear. Moreover, it specifically prevents a shift from 5th directly into reverse (5th to 4th downshift) or 3rd to Reverse rather than 4th upshift.

Short throw shifter mod?
