6.0 Tranny Cooler

I have yet to find any info on adding a second cooler for the 6.0. Just curious if anyone would see any issues with this? Only reason is for added protection when towing on hot days. There seems to be enough room in front of the radiator to add another cooler in line with the stock.

Re: 6.0 Tranny Cooler

I see issues with it. The trans cooling in your truck is so good you don't need to add a third cooler. It will cause more restriction and little, if any, additional cooling. Don't do it.

I've towed at max GCVWR up an 8% grade at +110F ambient temperature and could only get the trans up to 200F.
