south bend questions

just had the clutch replaced with the 400hp single disk clutch. couple questions. is it normal to have just a tiny bit of hop in the clutch while starting out in first. i know its not suppose to slip much. also i barley have to let the clutch out before it engages. its like i only need the last couple inches of the clutch. also it seems there is more noise coming from the hole for the shifter. any help would be great thanks

Re: south bend questions

the clutches do seem to be noisier because of the way they are built. they normally rattle at idle or if you lug the engine and then goes away any other time.

did you replace the slave and master cylinder? it sounds like one of them may be bad or the system could have air in it.

Re: south bend questions

Check your shifter boot and make sure it was NOT damaged when the clutch was put in.

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seat for OBS. PM me if any known
