6.0/5r110 temps vs 6.4/5r110 temps

Would like to hopefully answer some questions I have had that have been nagging me about the 5r110 behind my recently acquired 6.4 vs the 5r110 behind my old 6.0. Not that it's a big deal, but is there internal differences that make the 5r behind the 6.4 run warmer temps? I have noticed that while towing the same type loads, temps vary. The unit behind my 6.0 never saw temps over 195* and that was pulling some heavy loads even in traffic. With the new one, I went to 220* on my first 15k lb tow running up a decent grade. This is towing with stock HP levels. Average temps running down the road empty were 165* with the 6.0. Average temps with this truck are 175-180*. Is the internal thermostat different? Does LV run warmer than SP? Just an OCD owner trying to get a grasp on things.
