reverse feels like the brakes are on when under load

well i just bought a 2002 crew cab long bed with a 4r100 that has a brand new trans. i realized there is a issue with reverse while attemping to back up fast. that anything over a gentle reverse causes the truck to feel like the brakes are on and your trying power over them. and then when you let off the truck still feels that way for a split second until then rolls freely.

what could cause this guesses
