shifting: mechanical mods or electronic

I'm finally getting a ts chip, now the question is to pull out the valve body springs an valve and go back to stock and allow the chip to control the trans line pressures , shifts, etc or stick with the mechanical mods and request no shift/trans tuning?

Re: shifting: mechanical mods or electronic

funny, no one wants to comment... I got a great deal on the shift improver and really like it. I've read so many different things on which is better etc. change the whole accumulator out, do the shift improver mods, tugger, sonnax, bully dog, etc A few of the tuners I've spoken to all push their own stuff which is understandable but its really hard to get a straight answer. I'm not pushing enough power to the wheels to need a fully built trans. It would be a good idea though. Reality is that with 4 kids I just can't swing that. Anyone have any experience they want to share?
