Quick 5R110 to ZF6 Swap Parts Question

Well my tranny took a dump on me the other night and I have always wanted to have a 6 speed in my truck behind the 6.0. I have a few questions that I can not figure out.

1. Can I use my auto cross memeber with the zf6?
2. Will the rear drive shaft be too short?
3. Where can I buy the adapter plate for the zf6?
4. Transmission tunnel is this a must or can i cut it out and put the old one back down once the tranny is in then just reweld it?
5. I have heard my transfer case will bolt up with no shaft change?

Thanks guys truck is a 04 f350 4x4 by the way

Re: Quick 5R110 to ZF6 Swap Parts Question

1. Yes you should be able to use the crossmember.
2. Driveshafts do vary slightly but iirc you can use one from an auto.
3. I have the trans, t-cases, adapter plate etc.. to do the swap. PM me if you are interested in any of this stuff.
4. You can modify a auto tunnel to work.
5. On the 7.3s the t-case will def NOT bolt up between auto and manual trans. I am unsure on the 5r110 to 6.0 zf 6. It would surprise me if they did interchange.

Hope it helps.

00 f250 some stuff done always more to do.
Best advice I have seen on here "If you cant afford to build it right you certainly cant afford to build it twice"

Have you driven a 6.0 with a 6 speed? They have really bad turbo lag from a stop.
