Is it worth it?

hi guys my TQ is going out and I talked to Brian at BTS and he said it would be around 2000 to have him install his TQ do a pump mod and a VB is it worth it. I don't have the funds to just buy his trans or i would. should i have him do it or should i just do it myself. thanks for your input guys

Re: Is it worth it?

Definitely have him do it for that price. The TC alone is about $1300 if he's removing the pump to mod it let him do it. Thats a good fair price.

Re: Is it worth it?

I normally would say leave the TC alone since the trans failure could send crap into the TC and you'd have to cut it apart, clean it, weld it back and balance it. However Brian probably will give you a new TC or money towards a trans when you get him to build it for you.
