Transmission break in

Hey guys i was just wondering how everybody likes to break in a new automatic transmission. How long before you give it the power, how do you drive the first 500, 1000, or 2000 miles.

Sold puller-1997 f-350 12 valve 913 p-pump, big charger, big fuel, SBC, and so on
Puller-1979 Ford S/B, 60 front, 10.25 rear, 5.13 gears, ockers, 503 BBF, C6 with 2500 stall
DD-2005 F-250 c/c s/b 6.0L lariat, 6" lift, 35"m/t's, 18x12's, 58v ficm, gearhead tuned, 6.4 banjo's, raptor fuel system, 5" exhaust and a CAI

First 50 feet.

01 F250 XLT 4X4 Auto trans, Dark Highland Green, Green fuzzy dice,Di Pricol Optix gauges,Dura Lite air cleaner,CCV mod,coolant filter,,AIC,XM Satilite radio.

By the first time it's upshifted through all the gears it has had all the break in it needs.

I normally always try and put 200 miles on them before I put a lot of powe to them. Jus want t know what others did

That certainly doesn't hurt it, but it isn't necessary.

It needs a special procedure from what I hear.

1. Virgin sacrifice
2. $500

Give me the virgin for an "authenticity check", sacrifice her and give me the money to drive it for a day or so.

01 Excursion 7.3L Powerstroke. Gauges with AIH Delete, AIS, CCV Mod, 4' MBRP, BTS Trans, 6.0L Trans Cooler and Intercooler, DP-Tuner F5 chip, ITP In Tank Mod and Boost Annihilator, Diesel Innovation's Regulated Fuel kit, BTS Big Oil system, GTP38R Turbo with 1.15 A/R housing and BPD Stage II AC injectors. Bilstein Shocks with U front and A Rear.
