new problem tranny wont shift to 3rd under wot

it will with the ts chip cranked to the 140 setting or under light throttle it shifts.I thinkthe ts chip cranks the line pressure way up doesnt it? What can i d to fix it? put a stronger spring in the 2-3 upshift in the valve body or drill the hole bigger in the shift plate for the 3rd gear shift? Anyone had this issue before?

What year is the truck? if it is 01 it sounds like mine when it blew the diode. Only one fix. Rebuild. Why don't you put something in your sig so we can see what you are talking about.

What has been done so far? Does it do the same thing with and without the chip? Maybe the problem is within the chip?

01 Excursion 7.3L Powerstroke. Gauges with AIH Delete, AIS, CCV Mod, 4' MBRP, BTS Trans, 6.0L Trans Cooler and Intercooler, DP-Tuner F5 chip, ITP In Tank Mod and Boost Annihilator, Diesel Innovation's Regulated Fuel kit, BTS Big Oil system, GTP38R Turbo with 1.15 A/R housing and BPD Stage II AC injectors. Bilstein Shocks with U front and A Rear.

i got rid of the one way diode. whenever it was rebuilt it has a fresh rebuild. alto powerpacks for every gear transgo shift kit ts chip. When the line pressure on the chip is way up it shifts fine. It is a complete tranny rebuild. It is also a little slow engaging reverse. Takes about 3-4 seconds for reverse to kick in.

IIRC, BTS doesn't change line pressure for their shifts. Don't know how they do it but they do. Can you take the chip out and see what it does?
