Tranny wont shift into od after rebuild

Does anyone have a scematic or a parts blow up of what springs are supposed to go where in all the valve bodies? something that tells you what springs go where? When i put the transgo tugger kit in im not sure i put all the springs back in right. Also it does not shift to third unless you give it a lot of gas. Truck shifts beautifully first to second. Also I used quite a bit of trans jel on some parts does this stuff have to melt before everything works right?

Shop or overhaul manual, better gasket sets come with the valve/spring line up drawings.
Jel will melt in warm sunshine. You air test ?

No i didnt air test. It shifts but it just requires a lot of gas and the converter is not locking. I have an atsg book but it does not tell me what color the springs are. by the way the tranny is a 4r100

did you loose the tugger kit instructions? It's been awhile since I did mine... but I remember the instructions said what color the springs were. I could scan mine if you need it.

the accumulator springs in the wrong spot will not cause your concern, sounds more like a control vavle problem or otherwise.

Those are the ones I am worried about the ones not included in the transgo instructions. Like an idiot i pulled them out and did not set the springs in the right place. Can you tell me what color the springs are suposed to be? or maybe where to find a blow up of all the parts.

Re: Tranny wont shift into od after rebuild

figured it out had the accumulator springs for 3rd and 4th crossed. She shifts great now better than ever its like a whole new truck! Also transgo.org has a lot of cool information including color coded valvebody springs and measurements of springs. just register a free 24 hour trial. Its really useful information.Anyway thanks for the ideas guys.
