Transfer Case fluid

I am gonna service the transfer case tommorrow. I think its takes synthetic tranny fluid like Mercon doesn't it?

Not sure about the Superduty T-case but I know the OBS just took regular ATF. I think you might be right on it needing syn though.

Yes it should be Synthetic ATF, u should be good to go with it

I use amsoil in the Tcase and regular dyno tranny fluid in the BTS

reg atf us fine doesnt have to be syth

early 99, xcab, 8"lift,37" toyo open country m/ts, afe stage II,BDP tuning, 5" black chrome aussie cuts, blacked out bumper and grill, 8 isspro performax guages, stealth dual pumps, a few fuel leaks......

mods to come:
NO SACRIFICE..... NO VICTORY!

Ok thanks for the info.. I think it only take around 2 qts.

Its only $10 a qt and made for man trans and t-cases. Plus its alot cheaper than a new t-case if you actually use your 4wd.

If it's too thick though it won't lube as well as say regular ATF. Moose used to work for a dealership.
