burning used oil

I have started to burn used motor oil in our 84 chevy. So far with a mixture as high as 20% to 30% I have seen no issues. It has quieted down the motor and it starts fine. My question is who is burning used oil as well. How do you filter it? What trucks do you burn it in? Is there a good kit out there to make your own fuel from motor oil? my research has come up with very few options. I would love to find a way to feel comfortable to burn some oil in the 08 SD but I know it must be filtered and completely dry. Would love to here your thoughts on the idea.
