Fuel filte on ford 7.3

How often do you change fuel filter on your diesel engines.

I change mine every other oil change, every 10K miles. I probably do it to often.

Sometimes that is when mine gets done also.

Every 15k or so..... I waited till 30k once.... OMG i could not believe my truck was running with all the crud in it.

Been about a year n 1/2 since I've last changed it & will do it when it warms up a tad.

I always soak and flush out the filter housing with a couple cans of NAPA brake cleaner before replacing the filter to get any/all the crud (if any) out of the filter housing.

I change mine every spring in both trucks. With both truck being driven less than 15K per year, that is a good interval. I change the air filters at that time as well.

i was told to change mine more frequently then the factory service interval.
when bob saw my fuel filter ..he kinda gave me a wtf look ..and asked me when the last time I had changed it was.. I was still well below the recomended change. I think i am gonna do 10~12k from now on if I can
remember.
