changin all my fluids

I have a few questions before I go changin all the fluids in my 2000 srw psd.

1. Im going to be using mobile 1 for the t.case, tranny, and ps pump. How many quarts will I need for all of them? Will 25 do it and I will be replacing the tranny filter and adding a jw vb and draining the tc.

2. How many quarts of oil for the rear? Using RP.

3. How do I know when the t-case is filled?

4. Is switching to synthetic rotella worth the extra $ and will the 5w40 be ok for summer?

Re: changin all my fluids

These are the numbers for an 02, but shouldn't be far off for you...

Front axle- 2.9 qts
Rear axle- 3.45 qts
PS Pump- Not sure
T case- 2 qts
Tranny (assume you have 4r100)- 17.7 qts

To check the t-case... When you add fluid into the fill plug, fluid will start coming out once it is full... You can't add anymore. Word of caution, before draining the old fluid from your tcase, or tranny, make sure you can get the fill plug out first, if you can't and you drain fluids, you are screwed as you won't be able to add new...

As for Synthetic 5w40, I run it year round... From -20 to 95 degrees...
