Washer fluid goes everywhere!

Has this happened to anybody else? I hold the switch for the washer and get fluid down each front quarter panel. Near the rear of the panels.
Anything I should know before I take the whole cowl off??
Thanks

Re: Washer fluid goes everywhere!

Isn't there a hose connector there? Perhaps the tube is clogged past that point and it squirts out the connector, being the easiest place to relieve the pressure.

Re: Washer fluid goes everywhere!

That's what I was thinking too. It's odd that it does it on both sides of the truck...
But to check it I will have to remove the cowl. The hose disappears into that area on the pass side and looks good up until that point.
Wasn't sure if this is a common issue on these models

Re: Washer fluid goes everywhere!

can you put an air nozzle on the tip and try and blow it backwards gently to clear the line?

That's a good idea. I'll give it a shot

Re: Washer fluid goes everywhere!

The nozzles were clear so I broke down and pulled the cowl off.
Hose came loose right at the tee fitting. There were no clamps or anything for the connection, but I did put a small tie wrap on there to make sure it didnt happen again.
The only thing I had to replace was the button snaps that hold it down under the hood....
